Step Into the Video Light is a two-day Dancehall performance experience created by Inspire, a choreographer and performer whose work spans music videos, commercial campaigns and performance projects in Jamaica and internationally.
With experience working across projects connected to Sean Paul, KFC, Red Bull, Disney and National Geographic, Inspire brings real-world industry experience into the studio — giving dancers the opportunity to train, create and develop their performance with the camera in mind.
Over the weekend, you’ll learn a choreography, prepare it for camera, and bring it to life through a professional indoor video shoot.
DAY 01 — TRAIN + CREATE
Saturday, October 17
A 3.5-hour intensive focused on:
We’ll learn and develop the choreography, clean the movement and work on how to perform it with intention, energy and confidence for the camera.
DAY 02 — GET READY + FILM
Sunday, October 18
The day we bring everything together.
The choreography will be filmed in sections to allow for different formations, angles and performance moments within the studio space.
